Also, you wont need an A/B switch to go back and forth between the two guitars. One thing I noticed that seems to help is increasing the volume of the signal going into the pedal (as if you are compensating for the loss of output from the pedal).

This great little pedal allows me to switch between different tunings within seconds.
Now, as far as ease of use goes, you really cant get much simpler.
If you have doubts about buying it, don't!

This is a very basic Jcm800 patch with ML Brit Flattest Mix as the IR. However, drop D is my regular tuning.

I have found this to be especially true, the further the pitch is shifted, up or down, from the original pitch.
If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons! Since there are a number of different pitch-shifting products, you may have to compare them to each other and really think about what you are looking for.
All times are GMT. Carrying an extra guitar to a gig means that I would have to find some space to cram it into, in an already packed vehicle.
Odd. Since I am a solo performer, I have to bring my own PA system along with my guitar and other items. Im running mine off a Boss 1000ma supply, with two other low power draw pedals in the chain, without any noise issues. A proper high quality fully-isolated supply should be OK. Yeah I'm really impressed other than the noise.

I've been using this technology for some years now and it suits my needs perfectly, practicing at home, at rehearsals and live. Don't worry, I'm not attacking Digitech here, it's the only "negative" comment I have about this pedal.
JavaScript is disabled. The Drop isn't perfect, but it's damn good. The best reason for purchasing this unit is convenience, plain and simple.
complete "no-worry" solution for protecting your investment. Man is it nice to not have to tune down a whole step anymore for one of my bands that plays in that tuning!

purchase from Musician's Friend (electric or acoustic, New or Open Box) includes two years of Bad power? So I basically got into my reasons for purchasing the DigiTech Drop as well as how well I thought it performed. So, two thumbs up to DigiTech for that. So, hitting the front of your amp, in a clean channel you'll feel you have a little less volume and in a dirty channel you'll feel that you have a little less gain. That's not true.
Nice product. Base theme by DesignModo & ported to Powered by Vanilla by Chris Ireland, modified by the "theFB" team.
It's midi so I just control it with the floor board I have..not sure if just the drop pedal has midi to do it this way. I have a Drop and a Whammy DT.
Orders placed after noon Eastern time will ship no later than the following business day. Subject to credit approval.
I recently picked up an Electro Harmonix Pitchfork and I like it a lot better than using a pitch block as well.
Theres a spark at the input when you turn it on or off?
Body.
Just kinda assuming it was the power supplies I was using. As it was, my guitar usually rode in the passenger seat.
Its on the way. Not a major drama by any stretch. Well, pitch shifters are the instrumental equivalent of that. Not all applicants are approved. Its much better on the supplied wall wart, but I can't be arsed with 2 plugs for one board. People say the limit is about 2.5 full steps (5 half steps) and after that you get artifacts. No Interest if Paid in Full Within 12 Months*.
It definitely shouldn't be making that noise, especially on isolated power!
I checked mine out this morning and it goes: For Sale: Bass Guitar Strings and Accessories, The TB Bazaar: Gear For Sale from our Sponsors, For Sale: Double Bass Amps, Strings & Accessories, Wanted: Bass Guitars, Amps, and Accessories, Wanted: Double Basses, Amps & Accessories, (You must log in or sign up to reply here.). Bloody Inferno hit the nail on the head.
What I was looking for, in this case, was a unit that would allow me to do drop tunings on my guitar that sounded realistic enough so that I would not need to drag around a second guitar with a drop tuning to gigs. If you're able to return it for a refund, I would. And doesn't seem that a lot of players go lower either.
Bad pedal?

I would say, pretty darn good.
His heartbeat is steady, reassuring and dependable, not like a modern heartbeat.
You can't do that with SMD."
It does exactly what I was really looking for.
The Harmon supply that came with the pedal, I just got this Drop a couple of weeks ago used off Reverb.
You can even find a number of units available that have a fuzz or distortion mixed with the octave effect.
It means that I dont have to tune my guitar down or back up between songs and it also means that I dont have to carry an extra drop tuned guitar to my gigs.
I recently purchased the DigiTech Drop Polyphonic Drop Tune Pitch-Shift Pedal and have to say that I am quite impressed with it for a number of reasons. Perhaps adjustments to the tone as well as volume.
With the switch set to momentary, you can turn the Drop into a true performance pedal. Would either of these pedals help with that?
We should also tag. Basic description and contents of package, Product classification: Pro Audio - Musical Instruments - Effects Pedals, Startup and operation of the effects pedals. My guitar is fitted with an Evertune and was wondering if anyone here has owned and used the Drop? My observation is that its pretty bloody noisy even going direct into your amp. breakdowns, accidental damage from handling

I do understand all of this, and I'm fine with the pedal.
There are a number of pitch-shifting guitar pedals and effects units out there. As you do a full chord, you'll hear all the strings, but the thin ones will stop ringing sooner, but if you ring the thinner strings again, you'll hear them loud and clear and they'll sustain normally. Hi!
So the videos that I watched alleviated those fears.
It may not display this or other websites correctly. The 3rd semitone is fine but I do start noticing some subtle tonal nuances (not a deal breaker). Every guitar or bass you purchase from Musician's Friend (electric or acoustic, New or Open Box) includes two years of protection from manufacturer defects.

Whenever I purchase a guitar effects pedal of any kind, the first thing I contemplate on is what it will allow me to do that I cannot currently do.
It was 88 euros brand new and still is. Nice A/B recordings! It works great, but as everyone has mentioned after a couple of semitones it sounds a little synth like. It feels like there's a lot less latency.
tried one out a few weeks ago and it absolutely ruined the high end.

Definitely don't use it on a shared power supply which isn't fully isolated, they're horrifically noisy like that.
I also have a discontinued Morpheus Droptune that essentially does the same thing, but the Morpheus is more than twice the size.
Certainly not I. Some harmonizers need the guitar to be at correct pitch. Ive had the voodoo lab pedal power 3 plus on order for several months.
Gold Coverage goes above and beyond the manufacturer's warranty to protect your gear from unexpected Existing cardholders should see their credit card agreement for their applicable terms.
Im powering all pedals with the Voodoo Labs 2 plus power supply.
Your guitar has humbuckers, so I would expect it to be more or less silent direct into an amp.
It's not bad, but if it maintained more of the highs, it would have been better.
It down tunes your guitar in half steps until one octave. I was thinking bad cable but Ive been through several and they all do this.
I never have to switch guitars, I only have to turn one knob. Rewards members also receive double- and triple-point offers, access to member-only deals, as well as a dedicated phone line to Gear Advisers and a $25 coupon on your birthday, all on us. You have one knob that you adjust to the dropped pitch you desire and an LED for each one. I would say the first 3 semitones up or down (on the DT) are great and everyone I've shown didnt notice anything even after I tell them I'm using it (even when they pickup my guitar and play it).
Then at the end you can see me plug the guitar directly into the front of the amp to compare.
